Promise and Cherish Acts The promise act is an act providing rightful opportunities and meaningful investment for successful and equitable education, and the Chesish act is an act committing to higher education resources to insure a strong and healthy public higher education system. Together, the Promise & Cherish acts would increase the budget and funding for PreK-12 schools and higher education in Massachusetts, thus investing in the education our communities deserve.
